WIND DAMAGE TO OUR CHURCH   The extreme wind storms of early April with wind gusts exceeding 60mph did cause some damage to our church. In addition to losing a few more roof tiles, the tall cross on the very top of our church was loosened by the extremely high winds. In addition, the cement base holding the cross secure actually cracked from the wind moving the cross side to side. This repeated swaying in the high winds has made the original condition even worse. GARDEN PAVING STONE TRADITIONS     Some of our families have already started their own family tradition of “touching your stone.” Once the stone has been placed down, family members and friends make a point to actually touch the stone when they visit our Prayer Garden. Years from now children of those parishioners and their children's children will visit our Prayer Garden and they will touch that very same stone touched by earlier generations. Thank You To Our Sr. Ann Martin...      We want to especially thank Sr. Ann Martin, who for the weeks leading up to Palm Sunday, Holy Week and Easter, worked tirelessly from dawn through evenings and weekends to make sure our church was ready for those solemn days with all the many liturgical ceremonies.   She took care of the altar with all its many changes of colors and altar cloths and vestments, preparing the church, working with the priests.
