OLG Summer Fun
OLG Summer Fun services children ages 5 to 12. We provide a fun, safe environment for children to grow socially and emotionally throughout the summer. All activities take place on the church grounds. Experienced counselors supervise the children. Daily activities include pool time in two different sized pools (2.5 ft and 5 ft), a wide range of arts & crafts, numerous board games, cooperative games and various sports. We hold various special events throughout our six-week program, such as a Mid-Camp Luau, Chalk it Up, Specials Guests and End of Camp Relay Races. Children must bring their own lunch and will be provided with a drink and a snack daily.
Summer Camp Program
This year Our Lady of Guadalupe “Summer Fun” Camp will take place from July 3 to August 11, a total of six weeks. We will be closed on Tuesday, July 4, in observance of Independence Day. Our camp is for children from ages five to twelve years old. Camp runs from 9am to 3pm, Monday through Friday, with pick up beginning at 2:45pm. Each child will need to bring their own lunch, towel, change of clothes and sunscreen. We will provide a snack and a drink for each child daily.
Our daily program includes the following activities: pool time, arts & crafts, movie time, various sports, and board games. Chalk it Up, Mid-camp Luau and our End of Camp Relay Races will take place, along with other special events to enhance the children’s camp experience. More details will be provided once camp begins. If you are a returning family you do not need to come to one of our registration dates. You can drop off your form and payment at the rectory to my attention starting immediately, and no later than June 30, 2017. Please email me with any questions and concerns.
If you are a new family, you must come to one of our registration dates. There are two registration dates for you to sign up your child/ren. The registration form, and tuition agreement are available on the church website, olguadalupe brooklyn.com. A copy of the child’s birth certificate must be presented at the time of registration, along with payment, registration form and tuition agreement. Check, money order, credit card (except AMEX) or cash is accepted. Registration will take place in the rectory on the following days and times:
April 25, 2017 from 6:30pm to 8:00pm
May 11, 2017 from 6:30pm to 8:00pm
Early drop-off program will also be available this year. Early drop off will begin at 8am and will cost $5 per day per child. If you are interested in the Early drop-off program, please fill out the separate registration form. We also have an Extended Day program from 3pm to 5pm for an additional fee of $15 a day per family or $60 a week per family. Please fill out the separate registration form.
